to Ethereum network
When you send assets to the Ethereum network, they will go through a process called "unwrapping" by Wormhole.
After this process, the person receiving the assets will get the native tokens associated with them.
For instance, if you send USDCet, the recipient will receive native USDC tokens.
- Gas fees for the sender from the Ethereum network. This is a mandatory fee and the user will pay it. The transaction cost based on the current gas prices in the Ethereum network.
- Gas fees to transfer tokens between blockchains. We cover fees for all transactions from Ethereum to Solana that are over $50.
We support the most popular tokens in the Ethereum and Solana networks, such as USDT, USDC, and ETH. You can find a full list of supported tokens on the "Receive" page within the app or on the Wormhole website at https://docs.wormhole.com/wormhole/overview-liquid-markets.
We support all tokens wrapped by Wormhole. When tokens are sent to Ethereum, they will be "unwrapped" into their native form. For example, if you have USDC in your balance and you want to receive USDC to your Metamask wallet, you will need to first swap from USDC to USDCet. By sending USDCet on the Ethereum network to your wallet, you will receive native USDC.
If you have sent multiple transactions to yourself using the same token, like USDC, you can claim all the funds in one go. The funds will stay in your account until you click the "Claim" button. But remember, you can't claim multiple tokens at the same time. To claim tokens, you need to click the "Claim" button for each token separately.
